George Politis

Joined the club in 1995 when he bought his VK Group A/3. Served as treasurer for ten years.

David Vears

David joined the club in 2002 as Membership coordinator. But in 2003 took over as President and also for that year was an editor. From 2004 until 2009 he was President and again from 2011 until 2016. He also did a magnificent job as Brocktober Coordinator in 2017 (15 years in total)

Gary Bundy

Joined the Club in 2005 and joined the committee as Membership Coordinator just two years later. Gary was the Vice President from 2008 to 2016 and in his final year on the committee in 2017 he served as the Apparel Coordinator.

Dale Coombe

Dale was the Tasmanian State Representative from 2005 to 2010, as well as being responsible for the set up of the Tasmanian BCOAA Chapter. He also filled the role as Webmaster from 2011 to 2017.

 

Michael O’Hara

Michael joined the club in 2005 and then in 2009 was elected to the  committee as Membership Officer. He continued in the role until 2013. Since 2013 he has had two stints as Treasurer and continues in the role until this day.

Phil Walmsley

Being the first NSW Rep, Phil organised members and initiated NSW club runs and events since back in 2008/09. Phil continues in the role of NSW Rep until this day.

Mick Mitchell

Responsible for founding the QLD chapter of the club and served as  State representative for 9 years. He was also the magazine editor for 18 months in 2023-2024.

Kaye O'Hara

Kaye has served as club Secretary for over 10 years. She also keeps club members up to date with events, news and information with bi-monthly bulletins. 

Bill Painter

Bill has been a member since 2002 and has served on the committee over the years as Vice President, Treasurer and a single term as President. He also assisted in setting up the Association as an incorporated entity. 

Martin Hayden

Martin is one of the two founding members of the Association back in 1991/92. He was heavily active in the early years and maintains a keen interest with the Association and activities. He is always willing to share his wealth of knowledge of the cars with fellow members.
